Hayes Software's Journey From Waterfall Development to Agile


Situation

In August 2005, Michael Hayes, CEO of Hayes Software, faced a challenge. His development team suffered from poor communication and a lack of formal processes.

In addition to procedural hurdles, the team wrestled with production defects, insufficient testing and a lack of cohesion. The development cycle was working, but Michael was determined to make it outstanding.
